Youth Group

While our youth group is generally small, we have a very active gang of kids thanks to our imaginative and caring youth leader, Kate Mathiesen. In addition to church-sponsored camping trips at LutheRock, the youth attends NC Lutheran Youth Organization (NCLYO) events and regularly takes excursions to explore the Southport area.

The kids also work to provide multi-generational events for their church family, such as a craft-making event during Advent. Each year on Youth Day, they work with the pastors to lead the church service.

Youth activities for the younger set include the Waves of Grace after-school meetings for kids in primary school, and of course our well-attended Vacation Bible School event every summer.
