Every fall and continuing through Lent, we enjoy what we like to call Wonderful Wednesdays. These are 5:15 services that carry on our tradition of song, followed by an opportunity to fellowship together over a meal. There are even some scheduled services to worship outside, weather permitting.
With 2023 Pastor Jason has introduced a more contemporary feel. Songs are led by Keys of the Kingdom, intermixed with brief prayers, then followed by a brief homily delivered alternately by Pastor Jason and Pastor Wade. A list of questions about the message awaits the congregation in the Fellowship Hall, where everyone is encouraged to chat about the evening’s verse while enjoying a delicious supper at 5:45 p.m.
Some meals are catered, some are potluck, and during Lent we enjoy soup suppers. Watch for sign-up sheets in the narthex, or complete a contact form and let us know you’re coming.
